Synopsis

Olympia, 27, sharp, strange and quick-witted, makes her living as a fake medium. She doesn’t believe in spirits; she believes that people need to hear something comforting, and she knows exactly how to read them. But when one of her lies lands her in real danger, she is forced to run from Sakis, a criminal who tries, and comically fails, to control his temper through anger-management exercises and cooking. Her only way out is the old house her grandmother Eugenia left her in Palio Lithari, a small community where she once spent her childhood summers, along with a warning: never go there.

The house turns out to be more than derelict. It is haunted by Aristotelis and Menelaos, two old men who have been quarrelling for a hundred and thirty years, bound to the house by an old wish that became a curse. Olympia wants to get rid of them, sell the house and disappear, but to do that she must first unravel the mystery of the curse, a search that pulls her deep into Palio Lithari’s buried family histories, and, alongside her childhood friend Ritsa, into the hunt for the stolen money before the man chasing her finds it first. Somewhere between the investigation, the repairs, and one charming, infuriating local named Ilias, the series becomes the story of a woman who pretended she could speak with the dead, until two very real ghosts forced her to learn how to listen, to care, and to truly connect with the living.o care, and to truly connect with the living.
