Designed for writers who want to understand how stories are actually built: how structure grows out of character, how theme shapes every scene, and how craft decisions add up to a script that works on the page.

One-to-One Mentoring

Personal guidance for your feature film, television or animation project, shaped around the specific needs of both the story and the writer.

The work is built around dramatic tools: practical techniques, each designed to address a particular story problem and open up one aspect of the material. One maps the flaw as a crack that widens under pressure, and the exact pressure needed at each stage. Another lays out the opponents around the hero, so that each one blocks the goal from a different direction and exposes a different side of the same flaw.

Applied one at a time to your own project, these tools gradually become part of how you write, not simply a way of fixing one script.

Depending on where the project stands, we may work on:

• premise, genre, logline and dramatic potential
• character weakness, need, desire and transformation
• the connection between character, plot and theme
• structure, conflict, narrative progression and scene development
• a clear and manageable rewriting strategy

How It Works

Before each session, I read the material you have developed since our previous meeting.

During the session, we examine what is working, what needs further development and which possibilities are worth pursuing. We decide together what the project needs at that particular stage. I then introduce the next tool, explain how to use it and define the work to be completed before we meet again. You develop that material independently and send it to me in advance.

This is a project-based process, not a theoretical course. The aim is not only to give you feedback on the script, but to help you understand how your story works, make confident creative decisions and build a set of tools that will support your future writing.

Practical Details

Mentoring is booked in blocks of sessions, and the length depends on where the project stands. If you are starting from an idea, building a story from the ground up takes a longer arc — a minimum of twelve sessions. If you already have material, whether an outline, a treatment or a full draft, we begin with a block of six: we start by identifying what is worth keeping, and build from there.

A block of six covers the foundations of the story: character weakness, need, desire and goal; the structure of conflict; the sequence of revelations; and how these come together into a working structure. By the end, you will have a clarified premise, a structured conflict, an ordered sequence of revelations and a concrete plan for the next draft. Further blocks can then focus on what the project needs next — the world of the story, scene work, dialogue, or the rewrite itself.

Sessions last 60–90 minutes and take place online. We can work in Greek or English. Fees are discussed when we agree on the scope of the work.

To begin, get in touch with a short description of your project and the stage it has reached — an idea, an outline, a treatment or a full draft. Please don’t attach scripts or other material to your first message; we will agree on what to send once we have discussed the project. All material shared during our work together is treated as confidential.
